Hey there! I am Wilmer, a creative mind from the Netherlands. I'm currently working as an Associate Creative Director at Team Liquid. Team Liquid is one of the leading global esports organizations, being active in the highest leagues in around 15 games. With a fanbase of around 48 million fans, Team Liquid does everything to celebrate and elevate fandom to a next level. This is why Team Liquid has a brand marketing and content department with around 90 employees. My role here is to lead the bigger campaigns and content pieces, providing creative strategies and plans and to help elevate my colleagues.
Before Team Liquid I ran a company called Collector with Niels Zweekhorst. In 5 years we've built a company known for its signature feel. The goal was to produce projects that create an immersive and emotional experience. The projects varied from film to photography or even interactive installations. I always have the same purpose: telling the stories of brands, cultures, and people in the most touching way possible. People have to be able to connect. In 2020 I decided to step out of the company to travel the world, but the pandemic had other plans for me. After almost a year of waiting I reached out to Team Liquid.
